IASA-Szczecin Conference: Proposal Deadline Extended

25 Feb
IASA Newsletter announces the following notice on 25 February 2013.
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
Dear IASA members,

I am writing to announce that the IASA Executive Council has decided to extend to April 1st the deadline for submissions to the World Congress of our organization, to be held in Szczecin (Poland), on August 3-6, 2013. This means that also the deadline for the Emory Elliot Prize is being extended to April 1st.
Even though the local organizers tell me they have already received a fair number of proposals, I know several of you are still waiting to hear about funding, or may have forgotten the deadline was just around the corner. I am of course sympathetic to all those of you who, with little or no research funds, are struggling with the decision of whether to come or not. Let me just tell you that, based on the proposals that have come in so far, the Congress is going to be as exciting and truly international an event as all our previous world-wide meetings. encore un effort !

As always, all the very best,

Giorgio Mariani
IASA President
